Förderverein Deutsches Apotheken-Museum e. V.

A promoting society with many members is an important precondition in order to maintain the German Museum of Pharmacy as a lively and adaptable institution for the visitor. It guarantees, too, the recording of the steadily changing development and the innovations of pharmacy. Without this support a museum as a “non-profit organisation” is hardly capable to fulfil its basic tasks.

The aim and the purpose of the “Förderverein Deutsches Apotheken-Museum e. V.” are preservation, maintenance, and further enlargement of the collections as well as the development of the museum. With financial help, consultation, and honorary activity the “Förderverein” supports the museum. The objectives of the “Förderverein” are excusively serving the public good.

With your membership you contribute actively to the preservation of the museum and its attractivity!

An email, a phonecall or a short message to the adress mentioned above are sufficient: Support the German Museum of Pharmacy with your membership in the “Förderverein Deutsches Apotheken-Museum e.V.” The membership subscription is € 30.- per year.

BASF SE

The BASF Group is the world's leading chemical company. We are very proud to have support from BASF SE Ludwigshafen (Germany). For example we plan a new multimedia terminal in our laboratory. It will help our visitors to easily learn more about the strange looking instrumentation of a pharmacist´s laboratory from the 18th ct. Thanks a lot for the support!

Bayer Vital

Bayer is a global enterprise with core competencies in the fields of health care, nutrition and high-tech materials. In 2009 we created a new part in our exhibition: Our visitors find there information and rare parts of our collection representing the interesting turn of the 20th century. At this time amongst others the name "Aspirin" has been protected by patent law (1899, 6th of march). Thanks to Bayer Vital Leverkusen, the sales organization of Bayer HealthCare Germany, for supporting our plan with a glass cabinet to present precious treasures of this times!
